Your balance and history
How many beans you have, what is held, and every trade and gift.
Opening it
Tap Ledger in the row of tabs. Your balance is at the top right, in BEANS. It can be below zero; see "Your credit line".
On the global community there are no Beans, so the Ledger shows an example member of a local community, Example Valley, marked 🏘️ Local community. Its buttons say why Beans live in a local community, and send nothing. See "Beans and the global community".
The Ledger has two tabs: Levels (your trust, see "Trust badges") and Wallet. On the phone, tap your balance to go straight to Wallet.
The Wallet tab
- Your balance, and roughly how many hours of help it is worth, at 40 beans an hour.
- Commons: your community's shared pool.
- Credit Floor: how far below zero you could go.
- How many of your beans are held in deals that are under way, when there are some. Tap it to open Your deals on In Progress, where those deals are. On the web it is the Held in Trust box.
- Community Circulation: shows when you hold beans. See "The circulation fee".
- Project pledges: beans you have pledged to projects, if any.
- Send Beans: send a gift. See "Sending a gift".
In the web app the Wallet tab is shorter: Overdraft Floor, Commons Pool, Held in Trust (when beans are held), Send Beans and Community Circulation. Your balance is at the top of the Ledger.
Recent transactions
Every trade, gift and fee, newest first, with a note, the time, and plus or minus. On the phone each line also says who it was with; in the web app it says Sent or Received. If a note mentions a post, tap View Offer to open it.
A line for beans held in a deal (or paid out or returned from one) opens that deal when you tap it, on the phone and in the web app. You land on the post, where you release or cancel the deal.
Only you can see your balance and these transactions. Nobody else in your community can read them. Export CSV (Export mine in the web app) saves your own transactions as a file.
The list has no search or filters yet.
