Sending a gift
Send beans to someone, with no trade.
Before you can
- You need to have completed a trade in the market. A trade of only 1 or 2 beans is too small to count.
- You can only give beans you hold. A gift can never take you below zero.
Until then the button says what is missing, like needs 1 completed trade or needs positive balance.
Your trust badge does not matter.
Sending
- Tap Ledger, then Wallet, then Send Credits.
- Tap Select recipient..., search for their name and tap it.
- Type the Amount. Add a Memo if you like, such as "Thanks for the tomatoes".
- Check Recipient receives. Gifts have no fee, so they get it all.
- Tap Confirm Transfer. You see Sent!
A gift cannot be taken back. Check the name before you send.
Good to know
- Gifts do not build trust. Only completed trades do.
- You can send gifts while on holiday.
