The Pulse
What your neighbours make and share elsewhere, in one feed.
What it is
Tap Pulse in the row of tabs. The Pulse gathers what members of your community post on other sites: videos, music, blogs, photos. It is a way to find out what your neighbours make and do.
- Neighbours: posts from members' channels. The buttons along the top pick a subject, like Food & growing or Repair & reuse. All shows everything.
- Learn: videos about how BeanPool works, and a short daily reflection. See "The Learn lane".
Pull down to refresh.
The buttons along the top slide away as you scroll down. Scroll up a little and they come back. Tap Pulse again to jump to the top.
Opening a post
Tap the picture or the title. It opens in your browser or in that site's own app, such as YouTube. Nothing plays inside BeanPool.
Something wrong with a post
- Someone else's post: tap the flag, choose why (Spam or scam, Offensive content, Misleading post or Other) and tap Submit report. The people who run your community's server look at it.
- Your own post: tap Hide, then Hide from feed. It comes off the Pulse for everyone.
You cannot hide someone else's post just for yourself.
